OK, I have been gone for a while and I had time to think up an idea that just might make Micro**** produce a sequil for Freelancer. The chances of this working are slim to none I know, but I would rather belive the slim than the none. My idea is simple. Last time I checked the freelancer petition, there were about thirteen hundred signitures, many of them the same people. My Idea is lots of people go to petition online and make our own petitions. If we have twelve hundred petitions with about 15000 people sign them, our total signatures could reach almost one million. If this idea has been posted before I do not know, but it is just a thought. Creating a petition is simple and it was so easy, even I did it in under five minutes. Just an idea.
Laser is right. If you really want to see FL2 get all of your friends to go out and buy three or four copies (new) of FL each. If we all did that then the sales figures would maybe, just maybe get Microsoft to consider a sequel. They'd probably wonder why the game only started to really do well a year after its release though.
On a completely different note...why are people so reluctant to write MicroSOFT?

I have to say i can't imagine sales figures being that poor. It is after all a remarkable game.
But it does, as CODE and Laser have said come down to sales figures, especially with big companies like MS. If DA had stayed out of the spiders web, had soemone else publishing it, then there would be no doubt about the sequel. Which by the way i still think will happen even tho Microsoft own it.
Another "mystery" seems to be is are DA still about? I haven't heard of any pre release titles bearing their name.

AH! But, I know all Microsoft cares about is money, and if they saw how many people wanted the sequel, then mabye Bill Gates is smart enough to figure out that if Microsoft made the sequel, then more people would buy it, making tons more money for Microsoft and the rest of those money-grabbing crapheads.
