Ok well being a Australian freelancer player... I must admit I was initially upset at them having Australian accents and hence having Australia considered an outcast from the rest of the world... USA, Asian, German, English.... but since I have aligned with the Outcasts.... I must admit its been great.... some of the best weapons and ships available.... Ive fitted right into it.....
The pitiful Bretonian accent attempt was an embarrasement to Microsoft, (not including Tobias' and Quintane's, i'm talking about non-storyline NPC's here). I know of no British females who speak like that. The word 'mate' said with an american accent just sounds foolish, and there wasn't a male British accent to be seen.
And no one here says 'right o' or 'good show old chap', to the best of my knowledge. Most of us have too much self respect.
Right, that's enough ranting from me for now

Lord Hakera is a Japanese-American of note, Mr Sulu from Star Trek! Nice to know he apparently can speak Japanese. Juni's butchering of Japanese place names is grusome.
Presumably, the speech of a thousand years from now will be far different from ours. But the random mixing of accents in FL is strange, to say the least. Why should Tobias have a different accent than Trent???
Jose Chavez: "Trent! It's good to see my kind of scum."

Juni shouldn't have a Jappanese accent, she was born and raised in Kusari, but she's spent the last few years of her life in Liberty, where she would have lost most, if not all, of it. The accents are butchered, but I still think the Chancellor's voice came out allright. That guy's just so cool. --- VH16

when does she forget? She seems to tackle the names of the systems quite nicely. And we don't know how old she was when she left, or if she ever was that Kusarian to begin with. Her dad might have been a liberty person for all we know, so she could have been exposed to the western tongue at a very early age. She probably didn't forget, it probably wasn't cemented real good in her mind to begin with, although I think her accent with the system names is fine. --- VH16
