Freelancer Block - Quicks Mix

Hello all first let me explain what this about. I have recently started a new internet radio stream that I call Quicks Mix. I'm currently working on getting a schedule for it made and included in this schedule is programing/live shows. One shows i'm considering is a Freelancer Block.

Basicly the freelancer block would consits of music/songs from freelancer it's self and music inspired/used in freelancer mods. Also music identfiable with freelancer as well (Something like the most popular music to listen to while playing/modding freelancer) It would also entail live chat/disscusions possibly interviews about freelancer and it's mods.

The purpose of this thread is to see/hear you, the freelancer community thoughts on this, how you would like to see the show any ideas you may have for it, genreal comments and possibly how you'd like to help out or contribute. So please share.

On a side note i'd also like to point out i'm also considering doing a freespace block as well thats very simular to the freelancer block (so much so if theres a big enough response they could be come on big block

come one peeps!! I find it hard to belive that the freelancer community wouldn't have intresting in something like this!!! Please give me your thoughts/ideas/feedback on this!!!

lol, well. I don't know, not many radio shows have specific times to descuss games. Interesting idea, I'll support you.

Thanks for your enthusiam, yes Quicks Mix is a free streaming radio using shoutcast/audiorealm. You can find out more about quicks mix or listen to it on the QSD homepage and then goto Quicks Mix subpage.

It's a streaming radio using shoutcast technology and SAM2 (a dj util) if you want more info about Internet radio (aka streaming) i'd suggest going to shoutcast.com or just doing a search on google abou it. For more info on quicks mix it's self please goto the QSD site.

Yes, in fact thats one of the major reasons for this thread is to find out what types of disscusions or interviews hell maybe even reviews the fl community would like to hear on the block.

Well it's kind of hard to have a block specified at a game/mod community when no one listens to it

So thats another reason for this is to advertise about this and find if theres enough intrest to have the block and if there is then to find out how the community the core of the listerns would like to have/hear on the block

It is internet radio only as the other 3 formention means I don't have way to broadcast. Seconly internet radio is simple to connect to all you need is an internet connection and a player that supports streamin/playing mp3s *winamp, windows media player two name the most common two* and then you just connect to the stream a lot like a url or you can click on a link that is provided on the site. I hope that makes more sense for you and others about it.

This particuler block will be freelancer only, however as fore-mentioned I have started a disscusion in the freespace community about doing a very simler block but with the emphasis on freespace (1&2) and you can find that link in the origanle post to that disscusion. Depending on how things go with getting intrest acutally starting and such i'm also considering doing a modding block that would cover well mods in genreal however thats still far off.

As always thank you for your feedback/questions/suggestions please keep them comming more intrest and such we have the more I know how soon and what to focus on when we acutally get the block started, thanks.
