Need Help with problem!

on random ocassions freelancer completely locks up my comp,it's done it about 10 times now and i can't find anything to fix it, my comp setup is fine bevcause it runs the game in high detail with really high fps and i've tried other things like turning of effects but it still freezes, anyone else get this prob?

p.s. had to post here cause tech forum looked dead... soz!

it may be the sound problem, try reading some of the sound *FIX* sticky posts. it just might help.

Try reinstalling the game. Or something.

Try technical help forum, then try reading the thread about crashes if you have been running mods etc.
Otherwise search through there for vid card probs - cause that is number 2 cause of problems

nevermind i think it has something to do with the game trying to read 3rd partie sound codecs causing the game to freeze.

dont have one sorry.
