Omega-5. With the Van Rhoe Belt and many shipwrecks. The star is a giant and the diamonds are from the remains of the other planets that were incenerated as the sun grew.

Of the systems I've seen so far,* I'd have to say Tau-31 of the ice crystals and rainbow-circled sun is the prettiest, with most of Kusari space close behind.
(* I finished the SP game once before, never got far into exploring before I accidentally wiped out my saves - curse MS for not putting them in the game folder itself like reasonable developers! I finally picked up FL again, beat SP the other day, and am now setting out to explore Sirius.)

I like the rugged beauty of systems like Dublin (flecks of gold, oh my) and Omega-11. I like Cambridge too.
Kusari & Liberty doesn't do much for me, not enough fire - altough the route from Liberty to Kusari is rather scenic.
I do like Rhineland and Bretonia space, mostly because they provide stark contrast to the unspoiled border/edgeworld systems.

Best place to hang out with no1 around: CHUGOKU (KYOTO BASE)
Worst place to hang out with alot of people around: The unknown systems MUAHAHA!
Coolest place to hang out: Magellan (MACTAN BASE, ALL THAT CARDAMINE!!!!!!)

I think the Liberty systems are relatively dull and not nice looking. However, after that i find them all flippin gorgeous. I cannot really say a fav one - well, Freeport 7 is nice looking, but apart from that I simply don't know. It maybe dublin, it could be tau 31, but i do know that i love to look at em all!
Although the systems between Colorado and Shikoku are awesome. I love Dark matter clouds! And the place that freaks me out the most? The Grande and Pequa Negra dark matter clouds in Texas...I kno its sad but it actually took me a long time to get the courage to fly in there. And a realtivly short time before my hull melted away...Dark matter clouds, totally cool, totally radioactive, totally evil

One of my favorite LOOKING systems (rather than places to be, since some seem to be confusing the two) is Sigma 19. I love flying through the nebula as Kurile slowly fades into view.
Omicron Alpha is another great looking system if you're friendly enough with the locals to stop and smell the planets
Whichever system the Farmer's Alliance is in is beautiful as well; I spent some time flying for them.
Least favorite? ...Bretonia for the most part. It's so ugly I hardly ever go there unless I got a load of boron to unload.
There's a whole lot of ugly in the Fatherland too, if you know what I'm sayin'
Thanks,
Micah
