The story of Freelancer and solving of mysteries-Not 4 new p

I have decided to put here the story (intro) of freelancer just for people to see
and not to make stupied posts about everthing.
The story begins in the middle of a 100 years war between the allince and the coalition. The coalition comes with their hand on the top and launch an attack on jupiter. From the moon of Europa (hope I wrote it right) there were 5 sleeper ships. During the attack this ships broke the sighe(if I write it wrong I am sorry, I am from isreal) and headed for the sirius sector. After some time, the Coalition attacked the last hold of the allince in ploto. Right when the allince ships took off and got neer the enemy vessels, a massive blue ship appeared.
THE NOMADS-but they didn't know that. The ship turned to the suns direction and launched an energy weapon (was it a nomad battleship? or a star killer and why we didn't see it in the last part of the story?), that blew up the sun that blew the planets and burned but not destroyed ploto. After that, a yaung captain took of with another vessel to warn the sleeper ships from this threat.

And now for the questions and answers-
THE HISPANIA was later found neer planet malta. It carried the people that later became outcasts and corsiars.
A big mystery in sirius is why do we see many planets that were destroyed in a massive disaster. Maby a remain for a war with the domekavash????
Did you know that in 521 as there was a blast of a jump gate in texas?
BUT ONE THING IS A PROBLEM- WHERE ARE THE DOMEKAVASH????
Why did they live neer suns? WILL THE NOMADS RETERN?

I am sorry for not knowing this spoiler. I am new in this place. I have changed the Topic so new kids in this game won't read these spoilers.

Btw, bit of a spoiler with the hispania stuff, but can't people just watch the intro? or is this for the unreleased version?

Of all the systems, in all the galaxy, you had to fly into mine.

It is not a spoiler. Go to omicron alpha and see with your eyes.
And I know that the outcasts and the corsairs came from this ship because I saw it in a planet's news bar somewhere. But it is NOT a spoiler.
OH AND THE INTRO IN THE GAME IS NOT THE REAL ONE. Download the real one from this site somewhere and see the full intro. They probebly didn't want us to know who were the nomads so early in the game

No, they developers actually thought that a laser that could kill in one shot was too strong for the storyline, since with that, the Nomads could have already destroyed the colonies.

yes, telling where the hispania is located is a bloody spoiler!

Well, boo hoo hoo. You don't get even close to the Hispania in the SP.

Post Tue May 18, 2004 3:54 pm

and what exactly are you trying to say?

Okay you two, don't start a war about this. The point is that finding the Hispania is meant to be a "exciting" moment for a person. If you give it away, they won't feel so special about finding a long lost sleeper.

There is so much to do and see after story line ends, Just enjoy finding all things out. Just don't give it away to those not there yet.

Indeed. That's why they're called "spoilers" people!

the guy's got quite a few things wrong.. that intro you're talking about is not the real intro.. they took out that intro., the one you see is the real intro., as in the official one.

Well I guess it's time to page the Mods to move this thread....

I disagree, the intro he is talking about is the 'real' one.
The version we have with the game is the editors cut... The bits that are cut are the bits of the original story that they didn't have time to finish and get into the game.

I don't think it's so bad revealing the location of the hispania. I wouldn't have discovered it had it not been for this site. There are still ton's of discoveries to be made (like a couple of systems with some interesting planets and inhabitants), revealing one or two just encourages them to explore more. --- VH16

Perhaps, but revealing too much can spoil the game for newcomers to the game. Hence the label "spoilers" .
