I think that theirs no mod for that. Since it has been asked several times
you can only have a wingman in multiplayer but I think that you've heared that many times.

That reminds me... one of the very few good things Privateer 2 did was the escort missions :/ It was buggy though, sometimes you'd autopilot to the next nav point and your client forgot to follow you and disappeared >_<

Only thing you can do is fly in formation with some traders and their escorts you encounter. Of course, you might be attacked by a faction which is hostile to you ... but not them. In that case. they won't help you at all.

I liked Privateer II, though a lot of folks didn't because it was misnamed and really had nothing to do with Privateer and Privateer RF. Hiring wingmen the way you did in Privateer II would be a nice addiion to FL, after the SP game. I was always puzzled by those Privateer II freighters that were completely unarmed though. What kind of lunatic flies through pirate riddled space completely unarmed???


p.s. I thought it was kind of cool that the hero in Privateer II got to shag the girls. Trent seems like a poofter in comparison to Lev Arris.
