FL Mod that might best fit these areas?

Hi All,
I got FL when it first came out and played the hell out of it. I eventually had to remove it to make space for other games and such. The other day I was sitting around trying to find a new space game like FL, but found that there simply doesn't appear to be any as cool as FL was. I decided to re-install the game and will start playing again. I even plan on running a server for friends and others who wish to play on it. This is where my questions come in. I'm looking for a MOD that will work in multi/server play. I'm not sure if all of the features I mention below exist or are possible, but I'd like to ask about these possible features and perhaps some of you might be able to point me to the best multiplayer mod out there that has as many of these features as possible.

1. The ability to have player owned Battleships. Is this possible and do any multiplay mods have this feature?

2. The ability for two or more people to be on a big vessel like a Battleship at once. Ex: One guy flies the battleship and a second might control the side or rear guns.

3. Is it possible if you own a battleship to have a regular fighter ship docked inside so if you need to leave the Battleship you can take off on your smaller fighter, etc...

4. Is there a multiplay mod that allows star bases and planets to get bombarded and destroyed, even if other players are on the surface or within the outposts?
If a player is on the surface for example perhaps they get a warning that the planet is under attack and if they dont get off in a timely manner they would die as the planet explodes.

5. I forget if this was part of the original FL. Are there BEAM weapons in the game on Battleships and such? You know high powered weapons that can cut a Star Post or Battleship in two, etc... Like in Robotech or even Decent Freespace II.

6. Is there a mod that allows a new player to choose his starting race or class (fighter, trader, pirate, etc...) and then choose or be forced to start at a certain planet in a certain galaxy? Ex: Earth or Humans as Fighters and Traders might start in Manhattan, while a person who picks being a Pirate might start in some low profile, low patrolled sector or galaxy on their own Star Post or home planet.

7. This is probably not possible, but I'll ask anyway. While playing Battlefield Vietnam I liked the feature that you can enter a vehicle and pick from a number of songs to be played while in the vehicle. Has anything like this been done for FL? It woulkd be cool if a player could put a bunch of (1-9 maybe) mp3s in a folder under the FL root and then a command be executed from within hte ships cockpit that might allow the pilot to pick a song to be played. Then the ship would play that song from the MP3 folder.

Well, I guess thats all for now. As I said, I haven't played FL in a long long time and some of the above questions might not be possible, but as its installing I figured it can't hurt to at least ask these questions. I appreciate anyone who might be able to answer these questions and let me know which if any multiplayer mods might support most if not all of the above features. I'd really like to run a server that is almost like a persistant MMOG with similar features that might be found in those MMOGs.

1. There's a few mods that do that, the first one that comes into my head is Evolutions.

7 is easily possible, just leave winamp running and hotkey your controls. My logitech keyboard has several buttons on it aimed at controlling multimedia applications like winamp and I just linked them to specific winamp controls. I can just switch winamp on while playing and play stuff and fast forward, increase or lower the volume etc.

Don't forget to turn off the ingame music in the options menu tho.


Oh and beam weapons are possible as well, just create a weapon with extreme refire rate like on the shadow ships in the TNG mod. They can't cut through anything though as it's not in the engine's capability to do so.

And as mentioned by corsair player owned battleships are possible.
The rest is utterly impossible.
