I got stuck ate level 18...I've already read the topics about it but my case is a bit different.. Instead of saying that to advance level I need a mission it ahs got a value that constatly changes. I already have tons of money but I only made one or two missions for the corsairs but made lots of $$ selling artifacts.

You mean it changes when you aren't doing anything? The number should be how much more money you need to advance.
