I didn't say I bought them for looks. I buy A trusty humpback for money-making, Banshee if I feel like it, and the Valkarie because it's a pretty good heavy fighter that doesn't cost as much as the others.

The Rhineland ships, I'm quite partial to the Banshee, though I tend to use it for pirating.

All the ships in freelancer are ugly. but the rheinland ships i think are nicer than the rest

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you about the ships being ugly. The ships in Freelancer are simply different from most others out there. IMHO, there are ships from each set that have beautiful lines and are aesthetically more than a match for any given Wing Commander ship. When you say they're ugly, what would you rather replace them with? Aside from the TIEs, which nearly everyone agrees are sexy as heck, I can't think of anything better. If you have any suggestions that modders haven't covered, by all means, make them! None of us would complain about having a few more beautiful ships to fly!

Don't worry - PizzaPete, the God-Modder himself, can make a ship that will make even TIEs look ugly, surely?

I gotta go with the Borderworld line too. It's hard to beat for sheer versatility. Daggers for zooming, Sabres for booming, and Drommies for hauling...

Borderworld ships, definatly.

im gonna have to say borderworld, has the best light fighter hands down, four guns and a turret, plus enough shielding and armor to get you through any fight easily. what else do you need.
