Does anyone use the cockpit view?

First Person makes the game more immersive, and at times i wish DA had put joystick support in cos i loved games like tachyon and x-wing.

I always use first-person view for all the reasons already mentioned... But after playing through the game a few times, I turned the 'cockpit' off in menu options, while in cockpit mode to avoid the "shaking" of the panels! Does that make sense? Anyway, it makes it a little nicer, and still gives you the feeling of being 'in' the game.

Gave the cockpit view a try, but didn't like it. Found the view to be restrictive in regards to knowing whats happening around you.
