forget it.

i completely lost interest in freelancer.

not a single patch for this game ever since it got realeased.. its almost been a year since the game has been released..

i would of stayed in freelancer multiplayer some more if it had a guild system(not flight groups) was implemented where players could join instead of ET_MyName as the player name... also, a lot of people has been impersonating popular clans such as NEO. and a newbie protection where money was deducted out of your cash if you killed a level 1 instead of "NO PKING IN NEW YORK" some sort of like that.

and most of all, there is no rolling ship controls in freelancer.

and all there is left in the freelancer commnity is the countless numbers of mods there are for freelancer.

there has been tons of threads about a freelancer sequal which is most likley not to happen. sure there has been tons of people since the starlancer/freelancer in development days.

i doubt anyting good hill happen to freelancer in the future because a ton of people warez this game also which prevents future developments as such..

if there was a freelancer(client side) patch released by the official developers, i would be surprised and come back.

as for now this game isn't going anywhere.

p.s. and that friggin mission editor for starlancer was never released either.

Can I be the first to say

We won't miss you

By the looks of it, a patch is not needed. And as you wrote, there are a lot of mods for the game. So in the words of a little old lady from a few years ago, Where's the Beef? Sorry you didn't enjoy TLR and the mods and other input available to everyone.

This is one of the things that really makes me laugh about online forums !!

If someone insults the subject of that forum, all the members react like a mother who's just had one of their kids badmouthed, and all turn on the attacker!

If King doesn't like the game, I don't care....................

@King: In the infamous words of the Sheriff of Nottingham: "Shut up, you twit!"
So, bugger off then and pester somebody else you ****er.

Ok, these remarks are stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, did i mention they were stupid?

I hardly ever play freelancer anymore, but do I come in and start groaining about it? NOOOOO!!!

i spend more time watching the movie 'finding nemo' now than i do playing freelancer! but that dosent mean ive lost intrest in it! ive still got all these ideas in my head for new ships, the newest of which is the Aranic Battleship 'Riley', in honour of Worth.

Its the same with that old game 'Total Annihilation' ive got heaps of ideas for that, but NO-ONE plays that game anymore except me!

i think ive made my point

there is one word for this.
it is "whiner"

Must admit, since you have had enough and it doesn't hold interest, and you stopped playing..........why tell us about it? No-one wants to hear your moaning. Believe it or not, I don't think one single person here cares about whether you have had enough and will never appear again

Just make sure the door doesn't knock you out when your leaving.....

wow lol ^-^;

Hey it's a game. What did you think? A crack? it gets old after a while.

The thing that I don't understand is, if you've stopped playing Freelancer why did you whine?

Whinning usually gets nothing done, and for a matter this trivial, it is pratically useless. It won't win you the popularity contest either. So next time think before you type

@ cupidstunt
i didnt defend it, i was just correcting him, i dont want him thinking that its less than a year when its been 2 months. i dont really care if he doesnt like freelancer, i barely play it; and i still come here

I've had Freelancer since it was first released. I admit that I didn't play much because I didn't quite give the mouse flight control scheme a chance. But now...I'm enjoying the unmodded game immensely. I've also downloaded many of the mods that y'all on the forum have painstakingly taken the time to create and post. I feel like this game has alot of life. That life has been extened by the modders.

There still seems to be a large community of Freelancers out there. I happy to be a part of it.

BTW....when I don't like a game, I can't be bothered to go post my opinion. I only post in forums of games that I like. Why else bother?

Next up for me is Freelancer online...after I get more practice. Hate to get my butt kicked right off the launch pad.

Cheers

BTW king....there is a server/anti-cheat patch for Freelancer.

Oh the pain....the pain.

Been playing the game for a year and now has lost interest. Wow, looks like King didn't get his money's worth out of it.
