Finally got round to downloading the freelancer demo. Just realised how brilliant it is, will now be hunting around nearby games shops for the full game.

I downloaded the demo about a day or so after it became avaliable...it just took you *looks at watch* oh, just over a year.

But seriously, it's nice to know you finally got to play Freelancer and that you enjoyed it. Hope you enjoy the full game just as much, if not more...and welcome to the community.

Thanks all, only found out about it recently cause my previous computer was in the stone age and only got my laptop when i started in uni. Admittedly that was about a year ago give or take a few months but i just never thoght of trying the demo till recently. Also have now got full version (praise student discounts) and i'm enjoying it loads.
