The leader of TE was called to duty in Korea or something. But the TE was falling apart anyway. So it would've happened eventually.

I always wonder what happened to TE...
What about the Elite server (not TE, just Elite)? I heard it was going down, and then someone else offered to host the server so everyone was happy, but then it just sorta disappeared. It had such a nice ping too, under 25. Now the best I can get is a 50-something .

Yes, he was a real officer in the american army (band). He had upcoming promotion, and overseas placement in Korea as well - so the time he could spend running a clan with 120+ members* could be better spent studying, and spending time with family, friends and wife etc. Also it meant that he didn't have to waste so much time trying to fight the petty idiots trying to ruin us all the time - which was a lifelong goal to some of them (sadly, on their part of sad lives!)

* Some of whom were just totally dedicated to trying to destroy us......but due to our fairness rules we had to get firm evidence about their actions before being kicked out it took time to get rid of then. Even then if they modded on a server with our tags (even though not of the clan) they gave us hugely bad reps. some just modded, swore, pked and worse to try and get us banned from many servers and to ruin what we were. We seemed to have a dedicated group of lifeless people who just wanted to bring down a great clan - oh well, i suppose they got their kicks, and they are probs now off damaging other things too.

Some members are still around - so I have managed to snare most of the top officers into Evolutions Admins (they admin my forums for me), and they are my beta testers/think tank for the evolutions mod.

Some members started a new clan whom are Evolutions based as well.

Other members went "dark side" on us, and started Black......at first to destroy us, but now they can be found trying to be the meanest nastiest clan around. They are trying anyway . I don't hear any cries of anguish about them - so they must not be fairing too well at it . The rest have just moved on and left. It was a great group - with some true mates who i intend on keeping in contact with for as long as possible. We are all still on AIM/ MSN together anyways - so easy to start a convo when bored

Chips' story is pretty accurate... except that I was getting promoted to Sergeant, a non-commissioned officer rank, not to be mistaken with commissioned officers.

Anyway... just wanted to thank chips for leaving me a mention in the Evolutions MOD.

And by the way... I haven't been shipped off to Korea just yet... still a couple of months to go on that. Also, I may not be going at all if some paperwork goes my way.
