Anyone bought this?

Hey guyz, just wondering how many people here have bought this?

Freelancer Soundtrack & DVD

Is it good? Also I think it might be a good way to drive up profit for freelancer. May be they'd make FL2...

Sorry eh heh I'm still obsessed with the idea of a sequel no matter how remote.

Why? You can rip the music from the Game Folder... it's STORED in Mp3 files.

I was tempted to buy the CD just to get the Kyushu planet tune,...that's a smart piece of music! However why bother buying to thing for just one piece of music?
You really could get into the music folder, and grab the wavs but they're shortened to fit the game's cutscenes and action sequences.

it's STORED in Mp3 files

i beleive they are wav files
i agree with heltak, you don't need to buy some sh*tty soundtrack when the music
files are right in front of your face

edit: phen, what is the kyushu planet music? is it the bar music...that has the distorted sounds? if it is...well thats cool, but u can get kazaa or something to download music. then u can add the kyushu planet music to a CD of ur own

@wolf,...it's when you first land on (I think it's tokyo,...can't recall now haven't been in Kusari space in at least a week or more) one of the planets in kusari space.
I totally agree, and already have WINMX. Will do a search soon and of course will post any information on the results if anyone would like me to.

I'm pretty sure it is Kyushu, you can just copy the file to another folder then burn it >_>

using Nero's Music CD creator you could make yourself a brand new FL soundtrack! I've done it, and have the music_race_loop repeating over and over, that's one hell of a tune!

Lol, you don't need to have FreeLancer to talk about it.
All sound files are in (by default) C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FreeLancer\Data\Audio\. Don't bother getting the soundtrack when you already have the music on your PC. Also, I can do conversions from and to the following extensions: *.wma, *.mp3, and *.wav. If anyone would like it, just add me ([email protected]) to your MSN and I can convert the tracks for you. Either that or you could do it yourself .

EDIT: Tried to link to directory but it kept adding http:// .

I like the track on the CD where Juni and Trent sing a duet ...

Jose Chavez: "Trent! It's good to see my kind of scum."
