Its addicting, I usually play 2-3 hours a day and 6 on the weekend. I take an occational brake with another game or it would drive me bugeyed. Have you completed the game? Done any of the mods yet?

yeah, i finished it ages ago, need any tips just e-mail me. As for mods, i dunno how to make them, but i prefer to just have the game normal, however, now that i have been banned, i can't play it at home, which is a reall BUGGER!!!!

I've finished the game several times over. I love doing it with the mods to change things and I have gotten into doing my own modding of ships, weps and I even made a Ripper mine that tracks to the enemy like the cruise disrupt.

sweet, did you do a mod that starts you off at manhatin with a titan, lets you choose your weapons, and then your get ummm.....can't remember, but a fair bit of cash when you finish the first lvl. Personally i don't know how to do mods, but i would be interested in finding out how (not likley that i would use them, but i wtill would like to know how) i think it has something to do with the ini files?

If you don't want a real mod, get the IONCROSS character editor. Then you can start the game with any ship, any weapon, and start from any location. You can also use it to open the gates and holes from the start of the game and show you the whole map from the beginning. Also, you can adjust youreps with all factions to start a new game affilliated with a different faction.
I've played the storyline with every fighter in the game. Only times I was unable to complete it was when I was flying the Startracker, Pirhana, Patriot, and Starflier. Have fun.

where do i get the IONCROSS character editor? and are you thinking of multiplayer or singleplayer?

I'm completely addicted- 6 hours yesterday! Around 250 total. The only time I'm not on Freelancer is when I'm on the Forums.

I'm addicted, but to mp only. Sometimes i find myself playing for most of the day, only when i have friends online but otherwise it just gets too boring.

Get a friend with a computer. Load FL on his/her PC. Then play it until you are banned from that home. Repeat until you run out of friends.

Yeah, freelancer seems to be one of the most addicing games ive ever played, i play it mosrtly on the weekends for a couple of hours and spend alot of my time making and moding ships. The game is prolly so addictive because theres so much to do in and out of the game

Well, if you're all so addicted to the game ... do you ever play online?

I know there are so many servers and all that, but if people actually chose a server and all used that one (or 2 or 3, whatever...) we might actually be able to find someone in a game.

Often enough, I try to join one, and it says there are, say 4, other people in the game, but it's very rare that someone actually answers me.

If they do, it's usually to say "FYGEIMCOHWHJBHJ!!!!!!!!!!! LOL"
