i was watching Total Recall just a little while ago, you know, the movie where arnold schwartzenegger goes to mars but it all could be a dream and stuff (i guess thinking about california and the rovers kinda led me to watch it). for some reason i take special notice of music in games and movies. so it was at the part where Arnold is ascending a service elevator to the little activation chamber of the huge atmosphere reactor thing, when all of the sudden i realize, i've heard this music before. i rewound it a little to double check it and, yep, it sounded just like some of the music from freelancer. it was one of the parts that had to do with the nomads. i think it was the dyson sphere or whatever it was called. but the music must have been an almost blantant ripoff from Bruckheimers score from Total Recall. but it's been a while since i've played freelancer; it's not even installed on this machine (i am a mac convert). so my memory may be a little hazy.
