the answer is no its not compatable though it can be made to work (very poorly)
though believe me its not worth the effort

dont use the j word here - in starlancre they made an amazing js interface but the physics where as acurate as the cable guy was a good film, but when u played it that didnt matter, with fl the way that it is js wont work so dont ever ask about the again... ever!

Wow, haven't seen this topic brought up in a while.

I'll be a bit nicer and say that the mouse system is inherent to the game engine. However, some people have mapped gamepads to the mouse movements and some have even made configuration edits to game files to allow Joystick support. Unfortunately I don't recall where one can get the replacement files to accomplish this. If you scroll through the last year of Lancers Reactor posts in General Editing and look at all the Joystick threads, perhaps you'll come across it. Maybe not.
