I suggest you try Regular MP first, test your skills for a while get new friends ask about mods there and then move on to moded server.

nope, i ain't gettin' into multiplayer anytime soon. i maybe a newbie here, but not so new that i don't know about newbies getting chewed up...
i used to fly multiplayer at the hyperlobby (jane's ww2f).
anywhooo.....
i think i'll actually improve my skills before i try it...

I did not say anything about chewing newbies, actualy many servers got Clans who protect newbies, so if anyone kills a newbie he will be in the server admins and server's good clans "bad list".

I only pointed that u should try the regular MP first, you might like it so much that would take you few months to say:
I am getting bored lets move to moded server ..

eventualy most players play in there favorate moded server but keeps playing in regular servers for PvP and TeamVTeam.

I think there is some newbies only servers, but I was talking about regular servers who got rules to protect newbies like "NO PvP in NY" or NO killing for players under level 25 .

you are welcome to email me and ask for servers, or just check the lancersreactors links.
the best way is just joining multiplayer option in FL then chosing servers that there ping time are realy good to you (0-200) and chosing them by there names languege .. and then by reading there rules clan philosophy, talking to admins if they are kind or just big Ego, the server got a good number of players when you are online ..

man just try few servers in week or something and then decide ..

(by the way, I know where you're coming from with the newbie MP thing, my advice is to stick to SP until you've reached maximum level at least twice )

Grom, what servers do you play on?

@nick...at the moment, none (too busy unfortunately). I haven't done much MP with FL for this reason, but I built a reasonably strong character on Alpha Centauri 2, and when I get on it I also favor Jolt. But to be completely honest, nowadays I barely get 20 minutes to scrape a SP mission together

@gromit, what is the max level ?

if you mean the last mission then that ok, but getting level 99 twice its kind of crazy and better spend the time on MP building characters (and better do something else, like working }

I suggets not wasting time on SP after finishing the missions the MP is SP after the last mission + Human Players, and defeating one player who got VHF is harder from killing 10 GMG Eagles (unless you do that with drake lol)
