freelancer movies

I noticed in the epsilon video there were scenes with nomads and like a really large nomad ship destroying the sun? where did these movie clips come from, I also noticed it under cgis under screenshots (http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/art/thu ... ?dir=flcgi ) where and how can i get this movie?

The original opening showed the nomads destroying sol (to explain why there was never any contact with the Coalition in FL) but the placing of Nomad ships so early would have spoiled the game. So, they cut that part out. It's available for download in several places, sorry I can't say where. In the end, you only see the tips of some nomad gunships in the Freeport 7 scene, and if that ruined the story for you, then tough luck. --- RR17

Try Microsoft's own Freelancer site ... which hasn't been updated since the 80 Years War! (Do a Google.)

Apparently, it was an early idea for the game. Then they thought better of blowing up the Solar System. Might have plans for a return to earth in a possible FL 2???

By the way, the movie rocks. What happened to that General dude who escaped? (not a spoiler cause it's not in the game) and why did it take them 800 years to track us down again? (okay, that's sort of a spoiler). --- VH16

Nothing that happend in the orignal intro counts in the game. Thats why it was cut out. It doesn't apply anymore.
