Tanks

Me and my friend thought of something cool that might someday happen in freelancer, Tanks. We both thought it'd be awesome to tread around and blast things. Of course they'd cost alot and different tanks would be sold at different places, and depending on the size and power of the tank, it would take variable amounts of cargo space to hold....hey, I can dream can't I?

Tanks? Interesting, but why not just use heavy fighters? I fail to see why programming tanks is necessary. Plus, a panzer would look pretty messed up with a thruster on it. --- RR16

Tanks in space? It makes no sense in any form.

All my life I thought Tanks were ground-based heavy combat unit. How little I knew .......

Space games usually conisder space millitaries to be nautical in nature (space ships, Liberty navy, battleships, ect). Just as we wouldn't have a tank on the high seas, why would we have one in space? --- RR16
