mmorpg version of freelancer!

rumers say that there was going to be an mmorpg version of freelancer hosted by digital anvil with better multiplayer interface, in including guilds, player owned stations, and a lot of more hidden systems!

we also hear that the subscription fee will be 14.95 a month along with the $15 setup fee for you account.

Yeah, it's gonna be called FLO, and planned to be released exactly one year after FL. But they announced the news a couple years back with an important caveat: ONLY IF Freelancer sells well. So far, there has been no official press release about FLO yet. It's been postponed or cancelled

I think I heard a while back (can't remember...but it was before the game was out) they mentioned something about having 2 games with the name "Freelancer". It then said that one of them was later cancled. So I'm assuming that this other game was FLO.

Please don't ask for a link because I have NO idea where I saw it.

Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Imagine playing on a server, but instead of 16 people, there are several hundreds/thousands. E.g Everquest, Ultima Online.

Gee, now we have to pay to play FL multiplayer online.
But its nice tho to play not 10-20 active player but hundreds/thousands!? that's a lot, damn i think ill pay. =)
