Considering getting the game

Hello i played the trial version a while back it was fun as hell i like how you could go around, do anything you want, join any faction you want, buy ships/weapons/shields etc.. join up with squads of police on a pirate patrol and help them. Fun as hell, but then when the game was released i sort of lost touch with the game and forgot about it completely till now (because im bored and have nothing to play)

So im wondering from the trial version to the full game are there alot more places to explore/go? more factions and wars? more ships and weapon systems?

Also my brother and i like playing through missions and games together so im wondering if there is some sort of coop mode where we could fly together join a faction, do missions for them, and ambush convoys together?

I might get flamed for spoiling ... but let's just say there are somewhere around 50 systems to explore, 120 plus jump gates etc etc. More ships to buy and fly, more factions to fly with. The demo is like a peek into the window.

Forgot to mention MP. You can play on line against other human (more or less) players ...

WARNING:

Only purchace this game if you have lots of time on your hands. Otherwise you will be late for school/work and fall behind on any chores you might have due to becoming glued to your computer.

Enjoy!

I agree with Puke. Also I can get you banned ASAP. I know how to get banned from a forum. I said NO to a CLM once and got t3h perma-ban because he wanted me to respect him totally eve when he was a ****.

@nydes - firstly, welcome to the boards! secondly, if you loved the trial, you will ADORE the full version. I too was addicted to the trial version and then a few weeks later scraped together some money to buy it - and thats something I certainly don't regret. You will be shocked by the size of the game....and if you enjoyed your first mission with Juni, there are plenty more were that came from too.

Buy it! You really won't regret it! (try ebay - mine only cost a tenner)

@hornet - why don't you just leave??!! if you want to go...GO!

@gromit
jammie u got it for a tenner lol

@blade - it pays to ebay (I should write slogans )

on a slightly different note...when I first spied this thread, I could have sworn it said "considering going on the game" LOL...which in the UK means something entirely different

Kewl well once more question before i run out and see if any stores still hold the game,

whats the multiplayer like?

are there alot of servers/clans running with the game?

are there any "persistant" servers running?

what kind of multiplayer modes are there?

well if u get it dont read the box
its misleading
it makes the game sound better than it actually is (a forewarning so you dont piss ur pants when u get the game:p)

there are three ways we can describe the Starlancer forums if TLR was a town.....
they are either the ghettos, the old folk homes, or the graveyard

@ Gromit << sworn it said "considering going on the game" >>

So that's how you scraped together the money.
