If only....

Someone could combine a sorta GTA3 style gameplay when your on planets/bases.
Buy a good gun, attack the civilians, run away while being chased by a Cruiser.
Would this be possiable? Or only as a GTA mod.

I think it would be kool if you faught ships in space, people ejected, you tractor the ship back to a back or planet, and you either sell it of sell the one you're using and use the one you captured.

@steel: No Im not that blood thristy, Im more talking about the interface than the killing. However, sometimes I play Quake 3.

I thought that freelancer should incorperate some 1st person shooter, for example when saving mme president (as someone said) you do this in a Half-life style way.

I thought it would be cool if you could dock with other ships and board them, steal cargo, or even the entire ship (sorta like GAT3 )! Or, you could tractor a really badly damaged ship back to a freindly base where they give you money for it and its living cargo, or even add some components to your own ship...

HEY, theres an idea, adding wings and extra hardpoint to your existing ship... Cool...

Yeah, I wondered about the cardamine/artifact selling in public also.

It's realy strange to sell your cardamine to that Manhattan dude and all the while there's a cop standing right behind him.
But then again, they're easy to bribe, so perhaps he get's a percentage of the profit

Hmm - dubious.

Its only cause you lot like the idea of doing the GTA thing, and trawlin the streets in your starflier lookin for Juni, so that you can steam the cockpit up down a back alley..............oh dear........

How about Comendeering a few battleships and cruisers? Makings of a small fleet. Commodore Trent, has a nice ring to it... --- RR16
