im usually with the pirates, and getting all criminals to like me is easy: take 30 missions on planet crete against bounty hunters. however, i work closely with server admins and patrol for pkers in liberty (when applicable) and illegal mods. generally, i drop the admins a line about modders, though there are a few exceptions (namely when the admins know and dont mind cause only 5 people are on, and they are all in vhfs in liberty, or something along those lines). however, i dont see a problem with modders on many servers, simply due to the active server admins.

Buy big guns, stand near a jump gate or hole, blow up anything that moves, sell the booty, buy bigger guns. --- RR16

It's because the only true "Freelancers" are merchants and there's only so long you can spend going arround Sirius colecting credits. Mercenaries, pirates, bounty hunters, ect. need a base to land and possibly to take jobs. So, we always work for someone. --- RR16

Yes, true Freelancers would be neutral to most but would eventually start slipping one way or another based on the missions they take.
