Light side or the Dark?

I like getting people's opinions on Freelancer things, and i'm doing it again.
What do you prefer doing, standing tall among the ranks of noble navy men and women in the fight against the criminal underworld, or getting down and dirty with the salt of the earth, fighting for a cause against the governments of the Sirius system?

Personally, i like fighting with the criminals if they are propally fighting for a cause, eg. the Blood Dragons, not like the Xenos who fight for the hell of it.
Against people like that, i love to fight alongside the shining armour of the "good guys".

How about you guys?

Of all the systems, in all the galaxy, you had to fly into mine.

I'm a mercenary, plain and simple. Sometimes I'm working on the side of the "law" escorting freighters and newer pilots out through hostile pirate territory and protecting them. Other times I'm intercepting player trade groups and having some fun with piracy.

I've bought friends on many servers, since I was able to earn 400k per trip. money talks, and everyone has their price. I even had 2 escorts from opposing clans. Once they were done escorting me, they returned to killing each other. Talk about being a true freelancer, huh?

I am both cop and crim.

I work for the crims, taking missions against cops, military, BH guild, GMG etc.

But i patrol MP, keeping an eye out for "illegal" PK's, cheaters/modders, and just generally hire myself out to anyone that wants an escort.

I aint the best combat pilot on the server, but i can give the pirates enough greif for my employer to get away. Wether i live or die, if my employer makes it to safety, i still get paid.

Just my $0.02, but it could just be the cardamine talking.
Violence isn't my only option. Its just what I do best.

i just like to kill everything in my way!!!! lol, nah, in fact im friendly with corsairs AND outcasts(well...kinda lol) and some militaris(trade routes) and polices(hate those s*ckers, but i like to fly pass their bases and blow some transports lol)
still, ive learned to avoid cardamine, its doesnt pay off for me, i like to be sober, in full control of my body and mind, i want to be know by my savagery fearless and insanity....with no cardamine in my veins....

in SP, i've achieved the impossible: the cosairs, outcasts, and hessians all love me. followed by the entire pirate society, namely those in the edge world systems. the rest are either friendly or neutral with me. i just stuck on the battleship encounter mod and i'm stationed at rochester, with about 30battleship kills on my belt. but since alll the pirates love me, all the house police naturally hate my guts. and so naturally bounty hunters want me.. but can't get within 2k of me

in MP, i havne't gotten too far so i'm still a navy.

All the criminals fight for a cause, save the Liberty Rogues. The Xenos fight for their own Free Republic in Hudson (or some other Independent world).

Land at their base and listen to rumors. After doing that I haven't ever killed a xenos again. Poor idealistic guys.
