Trade Routes

For some reason, the game make me level up when i buy engine compenents, i level up. Why?

Rogues: I have the enemy in my scopes, i'm locking on
Me: God, i'm in a starflier and you still can't shoot, go back to boot camp and learn there.

Because the worth of the enginecomponents makes you rise in value.
I don't know why, but it does.

Some predefined average price per unit is added to your networth when you buy it.

For example, if Engine Components have that predefined price set to 600, and you buy 10 of them at 200 a piece, you still get 10x600 added to your networth, while you only lose 10x200 by buying them.

I'm pretty sure this is how it works, but I could be wrong...
