Serious Sirius version 14

anyone having trouble using this mod? i have no other mods activated, and when i start up the game it skips the short films from the developers and stuff, then it gets to the Freelancer splash screen, then quits to desktop. i have reinstalled it, and reinstalled the game, and i am stuck, help will be appreciated.

Try moving the savegames.
Are you using FLMM 1.2 or higher? this program eliminates the problem with the savegames.

can anyone help me out getting this to work, i downloaded the file used FLMM to install it, deactivated all mods, then activated Serious Sirius version 14, then i started a new game like the instructions told me to do, and it is fine until i want to launch to space from manhattan, then it crashes to desktop and terminates the program. Once again any help will be appreciated.

The mod has been having problems with custom loadouts on "mission critical" enemies in the single player campaign. After a lot of debugging, i found that the game was crashing in many places because of the prisoners (Pirate ships were supposed to drop prisoners) Anyways, if you go to the loadout.ini file, search for the word prisoner, you should find something like goods prisoners = 1 in several entries. Delete this line whereever you see it. Thats what fixed it for me....

Open FLMM (Freelancer Mod Manager), press the "Tools" -button and press "Delete Autosaves". This always fix the game for me .

i dont know what is going on, i did everything you guys sugested, reinstalled FLMM 1.2.1, then unninstalled it and installed FLMM 1.2. did everything, and it always crashes on the first mission where you have to launch to space for the first time to meet king, just after the loading bar where the next scene is flying through the docking ring into space. Or it crashes after the big full screen Freelancer Splash screen. I dont know whats up, one day all those mods worked fine then i try SS 1.4, Rebalance new version, and TNG, none of them work, my game is patched all the way.

Chris, it could be the patch then. I am running Freelancer 1.0, and i never had the immediate crash. It crashed later on in the mission, and my bugfix worked to solve that. Might want to reinstall without the patch if you absolutely want to play these mods. Cant garuntee anything though.. Just a thought.....
