ITA giocatori italiani uniamoci!

Un saluto a tutti gli italiani (and a greeting to the international friends too!)

first. don't call me boy, thank you. i'm not a boy from some years, now...

second. you're right. but i put a ITA label before the post. so shuddup. i didnt harm you, and if you really want i'll translate for you ok? so you won't cry, ok?

I'm serching for italian guys to play with, because i'd like to create a guild. this game is so funny in multiplayer, and even funnier to explore all systems if you're in good company! to avoid ANY debate, i tell you that i also seek for non-italian guys. and the guild i have in mind is meant for italians that speak english too, because in the guild i'd like to create there will be non-italians too. So. i play in the UK Server. My character name is Briareos-=(WM)=- you got all the infos, i just need someone to support me. italians and the ones that ain't italian! just for fun.

I could understand it -- and I'm not Italian. Must come from listening to a lot of Dean Martin songs when I was growing up ...

p.s. Studying Latin once upon a time sort of helps. Wonder why nobody studies Latin anymore. I'm mean, what if you run into an old Roman some time? How are you going to talk to him?

shouldn't this be in the multiplayer forum?

...I only looked at the thread because it had ITA at the beginning, which happens to be one of my favourite real ales...

for Puke: YOU'RE RIGHT! latin can help communication. and if you come to italy and see a italian chick you like, if you approach her witha famous phrase by a roman general, surely she'll think : "whoa, he's smart!" but beware... blondes are immune to that...

ANYWAY! sure it's a multiplayer forum, so i ask everyone if ye' want to start a EVIL but LEGIT guild with me. i dont want cheaters. just plain legit guys to enjoy on UK Server! any help i give you will be gladly given!!!

i asked first to the italians cause it'd be really funny, but not just us. everyone :-) make me know!

How about an Italia system mod? What planets would there be ... Rome, Florence, Venice? What sort of government ... a PM who insults everybody? And who'd be the outlaws ... the Mafia, Carbonari?

How about the evil tagliatelli or the infamous penne?

Seriously though, I think that would be a great mod! Why not? A whole new system based around Italy....Spain, Germany and Britain did so why not Italy? (Although, someone really wants to tell the FL programmers that Dublin is not in Britain, I think they've probably alienated all of the Eire gamers!!)

Hey Chrisamere, there's several hidden Italian battleships in the game to find!!

If you want to locate them, try taking a scuba diving holiday on the Planet Curacao !!

Sorry, Chrisamere, that ITA tag of yours is hardly of any use. It's an international board, and English is commonly accepted as a language used for global communication, even more so on the internet.

I could understand it (3 years of latin ), but many of us won't. Being too lazy to translate your post is not a viable excuse.

Oh, and I don't think you can complain about people calling you "boy" if you yourself were quite childish posting in Italian. You should find an Italian board for that - no offense.

I'm surprised you didn't get flamed severely. Glad about that, usually some of the people on the boards react like... hm.... "OOOH! BAD THREAD! ME FLAME! ME FLAME!"

Just my €0,02.
