Using cargo you get by blasing baddies

When i finish a battle i get some great stuff, mostly weapons.

But how do i use them, ???.

I can't see a way to move them to be used as weapons on my ship >???

All i can do is sell them ?

Am i missing somthing ?

Howdy and good day Recruit!
To day we learn how to mount retreived weapons! Roll It!
"To use any weapons obtained with the destruction of an opponent first see if it is possible for your ship to carry this Level weapon. Eg I have a Lv5 gun and I have a Lv 5 weapon hardpoint therefore I can mount this.
NEXT Proceed to the nearest equipment dealership. When there select the weapon you wish to replace (The one already mounted) and click on the blue "lock" to unmount it. Then select the weapon you wish mounted and click on the "lock" icon to mount it in place. Remember the weapons Lv and if it can be mounted, wether it is an improvment and sell any weapons you have replaced to recoup costs for Shield Bats and Nanobots."

Well Recruit I hope you learned something today, and call on me if you need any thing else Im nearly always here, and remember Cardamine is bad to your health so if you find any just give it to me and ill "despose" of it.....

You can also do this via your inventory screen (F7 by default) and there's no danger of accidentally selling stuff to the equipment dealer.

you cant equip weapons in space unless you are docked

It figures that I'd forget to mention something like that... but yeah, as long as you're docked, inventory screen will work. Otherwise it's lookie but no touchie.
