Even for a newb, turn off your stunpulse after the shield is down. Why? It wastes alot of energy for a puny damage of 5 damage per shot for hull damage. For the hull damage topic, use big energy power sucking guns. They have a really good attack rate most of the time. And also, use Nomad weapons. No energy needed!!!

I don't understand why people even use codename guns once they can get nomad guns. The nomad guns simply do more damage per second. Unless you're fond of a refire rate of 2, Nomad guns own all

Personally I don't use a ton of Nomad guns because it takes away from the challenge. I'll put 2 of them into the mix, no more, the rest of my guns on a VHF are typically Krakens, Salamancas and maybe a Pulse gun. I was into the 3.03 refire guns for a while but I went back to a 4.0 loadout.

YEAH! Stop taling the fun out of Freelancer with your Uber, kill all, mega guns! (Yes, Im just sore because I didnt play on to get them and started again!)

But still, its also taking the challenge out of it!
