Also, play through it the first time without mods... Or else you will get too used to them and can't get a foothold in Multiplayer as easy. It happened with me.

If i'm honest i got bored of SP after like 4 Juni missions or so. MP is tonnes better, just a shame the damn global server is down again .
And welcome =).

After several months of MP, I thought I'd take my god-like knowledge and run through SP again. What a blast! (Like a well-equiped Dagger before mission 5), stuff like that. You're a long way from there, but do follow the advice above, and Good Luck!

Hoo yeah! The Dagger is the only light fighter that has four regular guns and a forward-firing turret, giving it an effective three level 4 guns and two level 3 guns. This means that it has weapons as good as the Defender, minus the Starkiller torpedo launcher, has MORE armor and cargo space than the Defender, and is significantly more maneuverable (although a bit less maneuverable than the Starflier and Patriot, but it heavier attack/defense strength makes up for that unless you really love maximum agility). All in all, it is very strong for a fighter that you can buy before taking on Mission 3! If you buy a Dagger, then you can completely skip the Bretonian fighters and go directly to a Drake (or Hawk if you prefer) when you reach Kusari! The Dagger OWNS the game from the start of Mission 3 till you reach Kusari!
