MP ID Change

MP ID Change

I have windows XP and I am having trouble switching my multiplayer ID. I am wondering how this thing is generated, is it based upon the username of the system? Because I have reinstalled several times only to maintain a static multiplayer ID. Please help me with this, thank you.

do a full uninstall and remove all entries to freelancer from the system registry

reinstall and it should regenerate a new ID.

If you are trying to get past an MP ban plaaced on your account, you may end up with a permanent ban for trying to bypass the original ban

Just my $0.02, but it could just be the cardamine talking.

So let me get this straight, I search for freelancer in the system registry, and remove anything that I come across?

yep, mainly

HK_LOCAL_MACHINE - Microsoft - Microsoft Games - Freelancer

but be careful so you dont delete anything else..
