The Gaians seem more anti than pro anything. They get upset at the idea of turning lifeless planets without an atmosphere into planets capable of supporting life. That's a bit wierd. Now opposing changes to a planet already supporting life is understandable. But insisting that dead rocks remain dead rocks forever???

Gaians, or "Space hippies," are against the artificial change of any planet even lifeless barren rocks. Now Planet Gaia makes sense. It is a lovely paradise that BMM is interested in strip mining. But to slow down work on Ayr and Harris is just wierd because there's nothing on them but dirt and snow.

I found that shooting Gaians is an EXELENT way to get a good rep with Spa and Cruise. And from there on you can get a good rep with all the 'good guys' (house police and mayor companies).

And no, they're not environmentalist at all, because everytime they destroy a ship, or you destroy one of their ships, it leaves worthless space garbage hurtling through the galaxy and polluting Mother Ea... er... Space. They are very hypocritical.

Let's not forget that Bretonia's planets are floating through thick acid-like clouds. I was warned in a bar that I should wash my ship before touching it if I had come through the smog clouds. The water of planets Leeds in brown and every company seems to be smelting stuff or doing something with radioactive things.
Add that to destroying the only beautiful planet in Bretonia (Gaia) and messing up other planets with Terraforming techniques. Planetforms own employees doubt they are goiong to make dead planets habitable!

Gaians annoy Planetforms ship a bit, but the real work they do is lobbying. Trying to convince the Government to clean up the mess they made/are making.

Hey, I'm no Gaian hugger myself, but I felt everyone was forgetting the points I just mentioned.

Well, I'm off to a certain Bretonian planet, to hunt down some rare birds. I hear they're paying big bucks for them in Manhattan
