setup problems

i just gotthe cd from my friend and i installed it. when i try to play it, the computer says i need the cd rom. my friend says he copied it into the computer and it works. plz tell me what to do if that is how to set it up or any other way?

Yes, Thats the copy protection kicking in. Get a legit copy.
