CSV?

I've seen the Junkers and Hogosha use CSV's a lot. I can't find them anywhere, and they aren't listed under "pilotable ships" here. Why can't you buy them?

Well, you can download the Rebalance mod and they sell the CSV at planet Pittsburgh. But I warn you, I heard it turns like a cow.

I think you cant buy them because they are classed as transports like the one companies use, sort of like armoured transport used by police and spa + crusie.

The unmodded game has the CSV's with 800K of cargo capacity. A tad unrealistic, the Fight Lite mod has the CSV's available for purchase in Pittsburgh with a capacity of 80 units. A bit underpowered though with two guns and 1 turret.

From the ease with which it's blown up when it attacks you, I'd consider it essentially something to avoid!

no you havent unless it was a mod...

you might have seen the mule which is the pirate freighter and oddly rare. The first time I saw them was when I got back to NY at the end and flew to rochester. The mule that is, not CSV.

Aside from the appeal of a ship that actually resembles something from StarLancer(more specifically, the Alliance's Marine Boarding Ship), the CSV's whole story is told by the names of it's owners.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless
