A bug or is it supposed to be like this?

I have Kusari Naval forces, Kusari Police and Samura industries on "my side", I took a capture-a-person-mission in the name of Samura. When I was bringing the person back, the Samura station have turned red and started to shoot at me, and they didn´t wanna let me in to leave the person I apprehended in the mission! What´s that all about??
As a small note: there was a freighter vessel from another company which is my enemy who turned up from a tradelane in the same time as I was trying to dock.
I didn´t fire or anything, I just wanted to return the idiot I captured...
The same thing when I meet a Kusari Naval fighter between missions. They are allways red even if they are the greenest in my list. This just gotta be a bug because there´s no logic in that at all... =/

Have I missed something? HELP!

thats how the reputation works, if your Friendly with a factions base then if a enemy to you comes by they will not attack you and probablly defend you, but if neutral or less then if the hostile faction appears and is freindly with that base then your in deep shytus.

That was my first thought too, but Samura only have 2 friends; Kusari Police and the Naval forces. They are my friends too. Back to square 1 I guess...

It´s nice to be confused now and then, it´s refreshing =)

i've found this with Corsairs, but i don't think its a bug... i'm doing a mission for Corsairs (and i'm ok with them), i think i might have shot a Corsair fighter by mistake and they go red... try jumping through a hole and going back

Did you beat up on Hogosha or the Farmer Alliance. Was the ship from Rhienland or the GMG?

faster trick to fix it is hit F1 and select your same character again
that cleans up all the hostiles you are actually friendly with
