What if I have a Titan?

OKay, so I've played multiplayer for countless hours... smuggled, pirated, traded, became the bad guys, flew some shis from different factions... and finally bought the Titan. My question is, now what do I do? I've MASHED the enemies countless times in the Titan, and that's lots of fun, but I need more.

Right now I'm leaning towards pulling out the Battlefield 1942 again.... I don't know if mods are enough to save me now guys..... HELP HELP HELP!

Mods ruin Freelancer for many reasons do what Xeno said.

Since you have got the Titan you have now finished the tutorial part of SP and it is a good time that you learn how to fly. Select a class 6 ship like Drake, Dragon or Barracuda, get some decent equipment for it, and then see how far you can take the ship - i.e. take missions of the highest difficulty you can find and/or tangle with local criminals where there are good, renewable supplies of them (e.g. Omega systems for Red Hessians, from Dagger over Stiletto to lvl 16 Sabres). Don't bother with the civilized worlds, though - that is Patriot/Dagger territory.

Once you have done that, you could try one of the class 7/8 ships and battle with hostile Outcasts and Corsairs in their respective homeworlds.

You could also fly the SP campaign in a Dagger, Patriot or Starflier (preferrably in that order). For other ways to have fun with the campaign, have a look at the thread Plan for a maximum-fun campaign in the Spoiler Forum.

How do mods ruin Freelancer? Mods worked great for Half Life. From what I've played mods are great for the game because it shows you more things to do.

But thats just my opnion.

Mods in half Life are COMPLEATLY different. They may use the same engine, but there is compleatly new scenerios. Take fore example Day of Defeat, a WWII mod for half life and compleatly different then trying to kill some aliens.

I was playing Medieval Total War for several months, then got tierd of Dominating medieval Europe on Expert level all of the time. Mods didn't work for that game.

Just put the game away for a while, then come back to it.

So what if you have a Titan? I'll tell you what. You're fodder for my Eagle, that's what.

I suggest you try the PooBaa challenge!
only for the truly insane.

what you have to do is:

No missions.
No trading.
No mining.
No raiding civillian convoys and cargo ships.
No rep fixing APART from the zoners (cauz there is no other group u can shoot to improve your zoner rep)
ONLY make your money by killing pirates. And no jumphole pirate freighter selective looting either

You can add extra levels of challenge, only using BH ships for example or
only allowed to use guns you loot off pirates.
