Power to the engines

How do i give more power to the engines...

There is no way to redistribute power between engines, shields and weapons - that feature was disinvented (probably under the influence of Micro$oft marketing droids) and so this is just a manner of speaking. Activate cruise engines and head towards the current mission waypoint.

Afterburners give temperary speed increase. Lasts up to 30sec (i think)

Cruise Engines give a constant speed bost, they take away the energy to your weapons systems though. You cannot fire while in cruise. Lasts however long you want.
