Question on turn rates

Hey everyone I was wondering if there is anyone out there that knows the turn rates of the various ships. For instance I fly the dromedary a lot and I was wondering if the Drone, the kusari freighter, turns more easily than the dromedary does. If anyone has the turn rates for all the various other ships (except the humpback which i know has a turn rate of 25) that would be very helpful. Thanks!

The made a desert and called it peace

Smaller class, better turn rate.

Battleships- Very slow
Cruisers-Very slow
Qunboats- Slow
Freighters-Slow
Heavy Fighters-Moderate
Light Fighters- Quick

Don't forget the Saber, Hammerhead, Titan, and the other super heavy fighters.
The Saber turns like a freighter - slow, and is not very maneuverable.
The Hammerhead turns much better, and if you are an exceptional pilot very maneuverable.
Those are the only ships of that class I have flown.
The Liberty and Corsair heavy heavy fighters look to be much more agile.

The game data does not the turn rate of the ships since this is defined indirectly via values named torque, drag, and inertia. We don't know what the underlying mathematical model is and so it is difficult to get hard data ...

Turn rate is only one aspect of manoeuvrability, though. Inertia is also important. For example, Starflier and Drake have slightly better turning speed than the Patriot but noticably higher inertia. That is why the Patriot reacts much more snappily, which makes it very hard to hit and enables it to track enemies better.
