Why liberty is the weakest nation; rheinland most powerful

throughout the course of the game, every nation you come across gives you more powerful weapons. but what people fail to see is that liberty has the weakest ships in the game and rheinland has the most powerful (for house corporations). By comparing stats and numbers, liberty could easily be destroyed by rheinland.

Then comes other nations who are still better then liberty, but worse then rheinland. it just doesnt make sense, we have these crappy under 2000 armored ships that liberty uses and bretonia, kusari and rheinland have big expensive advanced fighters.

Right now america is the most powerful nation, what the hell happened??

Peace does that. And other Houses get to deal with the more dangerous factions - Liberty is right in the middle, isn't it? they still make up for it in good intelligence and numerical superiority. Rheinland might have the better battleship, but they only have ONE. Liberty has well, much more than that.

based on what? during campaign when you visit rheinland u see battleships, gunboats and cruisers EVERYWHERE but in the game i saw few liberty cruisers and maybe like 3 battleships in the whole system

It seems that they do a lot of modding of their ships in Liberty. You see those Defenders with Vengeance weapons and even higher level weapons. Same goes for the shields. They also seem to have a lot of Battleships and cruisers, as demonstrated in the Willard base mission, for example. I don't believe I've seen that level of Naval firepower anywhere but Liberty.

Rheinland got their entire battleship fleet wiped out during the 80 Years War with the GMG. Check the Spoiler Forum.

The Nomads helped build the Rheinland Navy again, but then destroyed they later due to the threat it posed to their plans.

Liberty probably has a secret 'sopecial force' of either: 1. A fleet of super-defenders(the ones with higher-class equipment; or 2. A fleet of Eagles (All the Civilian ships, including the Eagle, are manufactured in Liberty; therefore, they could always keep a force of eagles). Not to mention the fatc that they out-number the others in ships.

I don't think you can compare the naval power of the SP-campaign with the naval power after the SP-campaign, the're just to different.
(Not that ther is any power in my naval

Did you ever consider thats they way the storyline goes??

Would you have preferred the rogues in the first missions to be flying around in banshees, while all you have is poxy lvl 2 weapons??

Did you ever consider the fact that the story of pro-yank by making the liberty forces out to be the good guys? And the good guys one right??

To balance the SP campaign. You start in Liberty, then go to Bretonia, then Kusari, and finally Rheinland and the border worlds. The story isn't really "pro-yank" really... They were shielded from infestation by the other houses because of their physical location, but it didn't last long, since a lot of their officials were infested early on in the game. Hell, they're up there with the Rheinlanders as far as who you fight the most

I think Bretonia was the only house who didn't have extensive infestation, so basically you could say they (and Trent) were the good guys.

Liberty fighters quite basically are c**p, but their battleships and cruisers are probably unstoapble+they have numbers. if youn want proof of their battleships ability look no further than the order. CoffCoffOsirisCoffCoff. They probably also have imense numbers and there high level guns are quite acceptable.
