Play a mission. Find one in a Bar if you have completed the SP.

If you have more money than you need to advance past level 27, it will jump you up several levels.

that has happened to me. go buy a commodity then sell it back and u should be fine. if not then take up a random mission, that should make it go away

So i did all you said but with no result "next level requiremen : mission" stays there.
Now my missions are 100 and i made my credits 550 and how i said there is no result i'm STILL 26 level and im !!!!!!!!!!!!!MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U know what,a LOT of people have this problem and i think that this topic along with its solution should be stickied.Is it stickied already?Nevermind.I faced this problem,completed single-player and got stuck at lvl 22 with a little over half a million credits.The next mission requirement was "MISSION" and trust me,i dogfought till i grew a frickin waggy tail behind my valkyre.DO NOT INSTALL THE 1.1 PATCH HALFWAY THROUGH YOUR SINGLE-PLAYER(campaign AND non-campaign).That was my malfunction but after a reinstall (REMEMBER TO NOT DELETE YOUR SAVEDGAMES),I got lvl 30 for killing 1 measly pirate who tried to mug me for fertiliser.Would u believe that?!He tried to kill me over $HIT !!! Anyway,i wasted his sorry ass.

DIAMONDBACK + WILDFIRE + 2 CANNONBALL MISSILES = 1 dead mother****er...
