For the love of God, Buddha or Allah, someone please help me

Im starting to really hate this game! Im doing plot mission 3, and have been doing for 3 days now!!! Over and over and aaaaggghhh. I go to Manhatten to meet Juni, cue cut-scene where im told to meet her at the bar on California Minor. I go to California Minor and she's not there. I've done this COUNTLESS times at this stage and im going insane, im ready to break up the CD into itty bitty pieces and eat it. What the hell is going wrong???

I heard that you need to use the jump gate instead of a jump hole. I wouldn't know for sure, because I've never encountered this problem, and have never used a jump hole to get there. It's worth a try though...

By taking the jump hole instaed of jump gate, you miss something. That is why she is not showing up.

The next time someone asks if you're a god, say YES!

There's a jump hole to California?

every system has a jumphole,
how else could they construct jumpgates?

@Artic: Cruise enigines for a VERY long time I thought, and the Sleeper ships must have some sort of FTL travel or somesuch...

If it wasn't for the inky blackness of the night you wouldn't appreciate the brilliance of the stars... or the little Liberty Rogue ship exploding nicely alongside you.

if the sleeper ships were FTL then they wouldn't necessarily need to be sleeper ships to get to Sirius which is only 8 light years away or something. In SL jump drives were in-system only.

..you think you're done with the past; but the past isn't done with you..

I think it depends on how much faster than light we are talking about.

Let's say the FTL drives allowed a ship to transit from Sol to Sirius (a distance of 8.6 light years) in just 1 year, i.e. more than 8 times faster than light.

Putting the passengers and crew in suspended animation would still be a great way to reduce the need for consumable supplies on the trip and thus save weight and bulk in what the ships have to carry. That's a few hundred thousand tonnes of food, water, oxygen and other consumables saved if the crew and passengers were asleep even for just one year.
