The best gun

Does anyone know what the best gun is (how much damage it does). Are there any that are better than the cerberus or the diamondback.

They are the most damaging "guns" you can get legitimately.

Kraken Type 2 (Level 9, Ruiz Base, Omicron Beta, Outcasts) makes the same amount of damage, but has greater speed, higher refire rate and is more energy efficient.

Nomad weapons make more damage, higher refire rate and don't consume energy.

the Nomad weapons are probably the most damaging, if you consider that you can fire them without the energy constraints.

yes nomab canons do ~800/600 damage with a high firerate and 0 energy needed
