Got the shields, but no ship

Here's the lowdown:

As I'm sure you're all aware, there's a level 10 shield with some kick ass output... for a freighter. Now the only problem is, as I see it, that no freighter in the game supports such a shield. I guess this isn't so much a question as it is just a perponderment.

Yep. It seems pretty pointless, to have a shield but no ship that can mount that shield, doesn't it?

Maybe it's a secret frieghter that no ones ever seen...

But if you want it mountable edit the shiparch.ini for a freighter and *poof* it's mountable, or get a mod.
