Taking Screenshots

A lot of the screenshots posted on this site have no HUD elements in them at all. Are people editting them out, or is there a way in-game to do this directly?

Any help appreciated

There taken during SP cut scenes or during the docking animation

You can minimize most of the HUD, then crop out the rest to get a clean picture.

That's what I do, I just crop out what I don't want.
