Liberty is useless!

The Liberty military uses the same philosophy as the US military did in WWII with its Sherman tanks vs. the German Panthers and Tigers: build a cheaper, less capable vehicle in overwhelming numbers. One Valkrye can plow through a Defender, but what about 4? 10? 20? I'm assuming equivalent pilots here, not human vs. AI. Also note that the Civilian fighters, while not all sold in Liberty, are listed as manufactured in Liberty. Especially the Eagle, which owns every other fighter. That would be why Rhineland hasn't rolled over Liberty yet.

As for mission difficulty, I never take missions in Liberty except for laughs. I just lay siege to various pirate bases and sell the equipment I get. I make good money that way. Fear me, Buffalo!

I think the main problem with this hypothesis is that the American culture (which Liberty is based on) places strong value on human life. The driving power to the U.S. military is to save the lives of everyone, especially their own.

One way to think of it would be that the Liberty Elite (like some sort of Special Forces) could use Eagles. That would explain why you never actualy see any Liberty Eagles ('cause they're secret) and also why the other houses and/or pirates haven't taken over yet.

Liberty is useless because they have the worse LF,FR and HF in the game.
