High dificulty in rebalance mod, its unplayable sorry...

Hi all, this MOD (v.1.1b) is great, I started play the game again, but in my second mission, after saving prison ship, I got message from Beta 4 ship about attack on him, but if I reach wave point, there are 5 enemy ships attacking him, I can do everything, but about after 30 second - MISSION FAILED, BETA 4 IS DESTROYED......... what the hell should I do, in this time I can destroy max. one enemy ship, but defend him against 5 ships what shoot on him (and he is almost destroyed when I arrive...) is impossible IMHO, I tried it six times, sorry....
If all next mission will have this difficulty, then with this MOD is game unplayable......
Do you have the some experience??????

I did not write - I set dificulty 3 in this MOD......
Can I play all SP in dificulty 1 and after finishing SP change it to 3 or not ??????

It's the increased collision damage when you have difficulty 3 that whacks him. You should set it down to 1 or 2 just while you do that mission.

I can't wait until I find a really good mod where I can fly the Liberty Cruiser... Ah... Sweet dreams Buffalo Base, 'cause here comes the almighty Projectile in the Dorsetshire (yeah, I'll call her that...) to blast your puny base to even punier pieces! WAHAHAHAHAHAAA!

hi, I tried it even with difficulty 1, then BETA 4 ship had a little bit hull when I approach it, but again, afrer 20-30 seconds he is destroyed and mission failed.... :-(
I can not pass this mission, every time is mission failed whatever I do... :-(

rebalance mod is only for hardcore players...

is there a way to make that ship invincible?


Also, turn off the mod until AFTER mission 3 maybe?

Load up on a couple javelin launchers. It should take care of those damn rogues pretty quick.

Try to annoy the pirates so they shift fire on you. Hit each enemy once, and they brake away from their targets. Assuming you can close distance.

the pirates don't kill him, it is the collision damage, i had the same problem. just deactivate the mod for that part of the game then reactivate when it has saved after the fight.

Just make shure that you are flying a non-modded ship when you decativate the mod...

There was a really annoying bug in the mission w/ Von Klaussen when I played... The one where you destroy the Nomad battleships that are in dock.

Everytime I would destroy the first one, a "MISSION FAILED" would come from no where!

So I finally tried just staying away from the battleships and forming up with Von Klaussen until he ordered the retreat, and then it worked like it was supposed to that time.
