The eagle is not the best ship. The titan is the best ship. It has better armor, but it is harder to get and costs a lot.

those who have a facility to play multiplayer, why don't you guys sort of make some tournament where you put 10 eagle, 10 titan and 10 sabre and 10 hammerhead, fitted with what ever kind of weapons you want with roughly the same level of pilots , and start blasting each other the hell out.

do it for about say 10 round, and I'm quite sure the eagle and the hammerhead will have better survival rate..

but if you make tournemant of the ship that can kill off gunboats and cruiser, TItan would be the obvious winner..

right?

My Titan eats Eagles for breakfast and has Sabres for lunch (it got sick of hammerheads long ago)... But that might have something to do with THREE Sunslayer launchers, 2 guardians, 2 Tizona del Cids, and Ripper mines.... (and an extra thruster in place of a turret.)
