Demo Savegames in Full Version

I have just purchased the full version of Freelancer and decided to continue with my savegames from the Demo. So I copied them accross to the full game savegame folder.

Initially it seemed that the saves workied fine but it seems I am stuck on Skill Level1 even though the amount of Credits I have way exceeds what I need to get to level 2.

Does anybody have a fix for this (Perhaps a hack to unlock the savegame?) or is it better fro me to start at the beginning? (I'd rather not have to).

Start from the beginning.

You won't lose too much progress anyways.

It is said in Demo (after you finish the mission) that the next level requirement was tweaked for the demo, so you can lurk around for a while. Other things were tweaked too (map is not complete, ships are not complete etc.) I would not mess up full game with demo saves and start again. You really won´t loose much (if anything at all).

I will restart the game tonight. I don't think I will miss too much.
